NEWS Nano Giants Premiere
NANO GIANTS is a journey through a theatrical wonderland where we explore the value of community. It is about simple but fundamental questions of human life: Are we small or big, in relation to what and whom? What can we do alone, what only together? Do we move or are we moved?
On 1 October our new production for young audiences will start at a historic location: Mary Wigman's rehearsal hall in Dresden! Realised in cooperation with Tanzpakt Dresden / HELLERAU and PACT Zollverein Essen.
NEWS space | lab encounters are starting!
On 22 March 2021 our lecture and workshop series space | lab encounters will start! Our first guests are Cindy Hammer and Magdalena Weniger from TanzNetzDresden e.V., with whom we will talk about self-organisation of artists and lobbying for the independent scene in both cities together with colleagues from IG Tanz Essen. NEWS Top-level funding for dance by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia 2021-2023
Polymer DMT / Fang Yun Lo has been selected by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia as one of a total of eight ensembles for the Top Dance Funding 2021-2023. We are very pleased about this prestigious, honourable award. We also see this as a political sign that with our work between choreography, transcultural work and documentary encounters with people of the most diverse origins, we fulfil an important cultural function for Essen, the Ruhr region and North Rhine-Westphalia.
